Are there age restrictions?

The Lake Louise Summer Sightseeing Gondola is an all-ages attraction, so there is no minimum age for riding the enclosed gondola. Babies, toddlers, children, adults, and seniors can all enjoy the experience.

There are, however, specific safety rules for children. Children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one adult when riding either the enclosed gondola or the open-air chairlift.

Height also matters. Children under 42 inches (106 cm) tall must ride with an adult and are permitted only in the enclosed gondola. They cannot ride the open chairlift. This makes the enclosed gondola the appropriate choice for families with babies, toddlers, and smaller children.

Children 5 years old and younger ride the sightseeing gondola free, although they still need to meet the supervision requirements.
